Residential house 92 m²
This home with an open-plan living/cooking/dining area and a spacious bedroom was designed for two to four people.
The design takes into account the principles of fengshui as well as sacred geometry and the combination of traditional regional building materials with modern technical standards.
The main axis of the building is orientated exactly east-west and the house fits into the sloping terrain.

The impermeable plinth walls are 0.3 to 1.10 metres above ground level and equipped with a double capillary barrier to prevent rising damp.
Bricks from the local brickworks were used, which were traditionally delivered by oxcart. The facing bricks were sourced from another supplier. Solid window sills and brick arched lintels are arranged as architectural elements.
The outer walls of the centre section are double-walled and approx. 25 cm thick. The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating and an infrared mirror, and a high-quality wood-burning stove is installed for cold days.

The roof construction with a braced structure is visibly designed from the inside in Ybyra-Pyta with Machimbre. The outer structure consists of a bituminous sealing membrane with battens and a tiled roof. The side sections are also visibly covered from below using traditional roofing techniques with kapi'i and lianas as cross battens. Due to the design, orientation and room height, the house does not require air conditioning.

The ensemble was rounded off by a direct enclosure wall in the same design and planted with evergreen shade trees in direct connection to the residential building.
A harmoniously harmonised habitat has been created in all aspects, which is also attracting an increasing number of animals.
