Water supply, deep wells and construction of drinking water networks
Water is life. Everyone has surely heard or read that many times. At 35-40°C, this statement becomes even more significant. Since 2010, the right to water and sanitation has been recognized as a human right by the UN General Assembly.
Drinking water in cities and villages often does not meet the desired hygiene standards, and some remote settlements are not connected to the central water supply.
For this reason, years ago we began supplying remote barrios with fresh, clean drinking water using deep drilling and a corresponding distribution network.
The choice of well location, the design of the submersible pump, the sizing of the tank, and the correct routing of the pipe network with varying pipe diameters have a decisive influence on the reliable operation of the drinking water supply.
Water quality is monitored annually in accordance with the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV 2023).
In 2024, we expanded the first drinking water network from 6 to 19 houses, and the next expansion to approximately 30 properties is already planned for 2026.
The second drinking water network is scheduled to be expanded from 4 connection points to 10 properties in 2026.
