About me
After studying civil engineering (water management and environmental technology), I initially worked for several years in an engineering firm specializing in land development, road construction, drainage, and infrastructure planning.
Since 2006, I have been self-employed in Northern Germany under the name "Office for Civil Engineering," initially involved in wind farm project planning and cable route surveying.
In 2007, I furthered my qualifications to become a certified building energy consultant, and in 2008, I founded VPC (Surveying-Planning-Controlling) Engineering and Management in partnership with a surveying technician. Projects were expanded to include road construction through towns and villages, as well as cycle path construction.
In 2011, the development and construction of biogas plants and filling stations, along with other facilities for handling liquids that pose a risk to groundwater, became a more prominent focus.
However, land development and road construction, including proper surface drainage, wastewater disposal, and water supply, have always remained my core expertise.
In 2016, I was licensed by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) as a property developer, real estate agent, and construction supervisor under Section 34c of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO). In 2017, I was appointed to manage a water authority, overseeing, among other things, groundwater wells and small wastewater treatment plants. In 2018, I completed training in conflict management as an out-of-court mediator in the construction industry.
In the same year, 2018, I founded IFP Infrastrukturplanungs-Facilitymanagement-Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH (IFP Infrastructure Planning, Facility Management, and Project Development Company) and developed existing properties, including an old railway station complex, into a modern, barrier-free senior living project with direct access to the state capital. Further projects in the areas of sewer construction, rehabilitation, and land development followed, consistently focusing on wastewater disposal and surface water drainage.
In 2021, I moved to Paraguay to apply and expand my diverse experience and knowledge.
Here, I initially converted Paraguayan houses, a water tower with an outbuilding, and constructed a drinking water network.
In 2022, I began construction of two residential buildings and another groundwater extraction station with a supply network.
In 2023, a small-scale wastewater treatment plant for 10 population equivalents was built, and the drinking water network was extended to approximately 600 meters and 19 property connections.
From 2024/25 onward, additional single-family homes and a large residential complex with outbuildings and fencing were constructed. Simultaneously, planning and consulting services were provided before and during external construction work, as well as building damage assessments and remediation consulting.
Further small-scale wastewater treatment plants have since been built at other locations.
More activities are planned for 2026. Life is a construction site...
